Artistic Research Residency
Starting Date
End Date
The Artistic Research Residency Program, organized by the CENTRO Arts and Culture Unit, foregrounds the integration of rigorous research methodologies within artistic practice. This initiative fosters a dynamic environment where artists engage in research activities at the CENTRO Library and Archives and explore alternative research modalities, including community-based approaches, oral histories and interviews, and collaborative processes. Resident artists collaborate with CENTRO’s staff and research cohorts, and participate in critical discussions aligned with our thematic research agenda. They are provided with a studio and institutional support. The program welcomes applicants from a diverse range of disciplines and methodological perspectives. Details on open calls for residency applications can be found in the Opportunities section of our website.
