Support CENTRO

What does it take to keep 50 years of Puerto Rican history, scholarship, and culture alive for the next 50? It takes people who show up the way this community always has. CENTRO was born out of the Civil Rights Movement and has never stopped growing — but only because people like you keep it moving.

Whether it’s $1, $1,000 or $100,000, your support ensures we can continue producing knowledge, preserving our stories, legacies, and cultural heritage by:

• Fostering scholars, academic researchers at all levels, artists and their scholarship
• Expanding, preserving, and digitizing essential archival holdings
• Curating and showcasing cutting-edge art exhibitions in the CENTRO Gallery
• Producing our Emmy Award Winning TV Series, Puerto Rican Voices
• Publishing new literature and translating essential works by key authors
• Redistributing funds via microgrants to community groups and projects
• Hosting free events, workshops, and symposiums for all to attend
• Developing culturally grounded & informed educational materials for educators
• Supporting over 100 partner institutions across Puerto Rico & the diaspora
