Tracey Reveron (She/They) is an Arts and Culture Research Aid at CENTRO. She is also a multimedia artist interested in the intersectionality between the arts and sciences. She has a BA from Hunter College in Studio Art and a minor in Art History, with a concentration in printmaking. She is currently pursuing her MA in Animal Behavior and Conservation, also at Hunter. Some of her work at CENTRO includes subtitling for the Diasporican Art in Motion Docuseries and communicating with artists to build the Diasporican Art in Motion Database.

Being born and raised in New York City, I have had access to some of the most amazing zoos and museums. Thus, the natural world that is accessible to me often informs my artistic subject matter as well as my education. I am passionate about the ways that ethnic and sexual identity is shaped by the living things around us and the vibrant, colorful, forms they take. I explore how art can be a method of understanding the world as well as digesting heavy emotion through the process of creation.
