(she/her) Glorimar Garcia is Research Assistant / Art Researcher at CENTRO. Garcia works as a part of the Arts and Culture team and focuses on the Diasporican Arts in Motion initiative and exhibitions. Born and raised in Ohio, she received a dual Bachelors in Fine Art  from the Art Academy of Cincinnati in Painting and Art History. Among her significant projects is Cards for Puerto Rico, a benefit exhibition curated following the devastating hurricanes in 2017. Garcia is experienced working with galleries, arts non-profit organizations, living artists, and artist estates.
