Since 1991 José exercises day to day responsibility for the management and coordination of CENTRO operations:  personnel matters, budget planning and monitoring of expenditures from state and grant funds of over 2 million dollars, and oversees facilities and technology improvements. José assists the CENTRO Director and staff in the overall implementation of institutional goals. His educational background is summarized as follows: 1977-1980 ABD, Boston University Counselor Education; 1972 Masters of Arts in Teaching, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Social Studies & Bilingual Education; 1971 Bachelor of Arts, New York University, Political Science; and 1967 Graduate, Bronx High School of Science, New York City
