Cumbre x CENTRO – Black Cuerpas: Race, Body Politics, & Culture

Take a tour of New York City like you’ve never done before during the Cumbre X CENTRO conference on the week leading up to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade. The theme of this conference, Black Cuerpas: Race, Body Politics, & Culture, is a collaborative retrospective of CENTRO’s third year of the Rooted + Relational Research Initiative!

This conference is produced in conjunction with celebrated cultural institutions around NYC like the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute, The Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center, The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, The Haitian Studies Institute, and the Asian American/Asian Research Institute and will feature programming across these institutions and at CENTRO.
