Werner Segarra has been a professional photographer for over thirty years. He has participated in numerous group and individual exhibitions in various international galleries and museums, including the Phoenix Art Museum Contemporary Forum in Phoenix, AZ, and Chiaroscuro Gallery in Santa Fe, NM.

Segarra's work is a testament to the transformative power of personal experience. Having lived in various countries during his formative years, he cultivated his artistic sensitivity and respect for native cultures. The most significant encounter and inspiration for this exhibition was a student exchange to northern Mexico. Segarra immersed himself in the Mexican cowboy world, an experience that captivated and motivated him to share his love and respect for this culture with the rest of the world.

"The image, taken in slow motion, captures the precise moment when the cattle ran past him. Notice that the man and beast are static in the background and are not breathing." - Werner Segarra
