(she/her) Laura Colón Meléndez holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Michigan, and a B.Sc. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
She has worked as a Data Scientist in different verticals in industry (marketing, adtech, finance, edtech), assisting in projects as varied as writing data science curriculum, creating customer segmentation models, and analyzing digital marketing campaigns.
Her role as Data Scientist at CENTRO includes researching, creating, and curating datasets for CENTRO Data Hub’s data and research products, and performing statistical analyses.
