A reading and panel discussion on the life and work of one of the Puerto Rican community's most cutting-edge writers. A founder of the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural Center, Vega's novels challenge their readers with their experimental narratives and capture what David González of the New York Times has termed "the crazy glory of this city and its people." Please join speakers Pedro López Adorno, Alyson Vega, Richard Pérez and Dan Evans, moderator Maritza Stanchich, as well as Vega's many other friends and family, and the Centro community, in celebrating the work of this often overlooked literary giant.
