CENTRO has launched a new in-person series in celebration of our 50th Anniversary! Join us once a month on Saturday afternoons at the Silberman School of Social Work for La Meriendita, a story hour dedicated to children’s books. This month’s story hour book is The Journey of Pura Belpre’s Tales by Manuel Morán, a story dedicated to Pura Belpre’s legendary “Bilingual Story Hour.” Her famous tales: Pérez & Martina, Juan Bobo, and The Three Magi come to life in a creative and interactive experience. Bring your little ones by for a story on their culture, arts & crafts, and snacks!

This event is part of the CENTRO 50th Anniversary Celebration! Join us all of 2023 in celebrating 50 years of CENTRO’s work to strengthen, diversify, and reimagine the field of Puerto Rican Studies!
