Adrian Bermeo (b.1989, NYC) is a visual artist with origins in graffiti and graphic design, who has exhibited in multiple galleries and community events as well as Queens Museum and Mana Contemporary. His multilayered artworks are intuitively made in Neo-Expressive forms which stem from the artist’s upbringing and connection to his LatinX heritage. While working in his raw approach to painting, Bermeo's abstract, still-life and character portraits reveal counter cultural messages and tributes to his culture and points of view as a native New Yorker in an ever changing city. Since the beginning of 2022, Bermeo has begun curating group exhibitions which celebrate solidarity, confront social stigmas, and give voice to emerging artists who align with core values throughout his practice.
