US Territories – 2020 Decennial Census Data Dashboard

When assessing how the other territories were fairing using the same measures used to analyze Puerto Rico’s socio-economic situation, we started to take note of the unequal data collection across the territories as well as its impact. In response to these questions, we decided to create a tool to showcase socio-economic data with the latest data available for the different island area territories and PR.

The US Territories - 2020 Decennial Census Data Dashboard displays data of educational attainment and language proficiency, income, employment, housing, health and much more. The tool both highlights available data as well as sheds light on the need for more detailed information.

The U.S. Census Bureau’s Decennial Census, Decennial Census of Island Areas, and American Community Survey (5-year estimates) are the sources of data used for the dashboard.
