María M. Burgos Carradero is an Afro-Boricua emergent writer, editor, and educator from Humacao, PR. After completing her M.A. in Literature from Michigan State University, she became the Editor of our electronic magazine, RicanWritings, and an Independent Researcher at the Diaspora Solidarities Lab Fellowship with the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Higher Learning Grant.
