Dúo Copla: NYC Tour

Dúo Copla (José Maldonado & Ernesto Ramos) is a classical guitar duo from Puerto Rico that focuses on performing, arranging, and recording music by Puerto Rican composers. In March 2024, they will be performing at various universities and cultural institutions in New York. The tour includes performances at Bloomingdale School of Music on March 2nd, Stony Brook University on March 5th, John Jay College on March 6th, Hunter College on March 7th, and The Brooklyn Classical Guitar Society on March 9th. Their program includes 19th-century Danzas by Manuel Gregorio Tavárez and Juan Morel Campos, as well as 20th-century works by Rafael Hernández, Leonardo Egúrbida, Juan Sorroche, and Ernesto Cordero.
