Puerto Rican actor, writer, professor, and author Teófilo Torres, better known for his classic on-stage monologues such as; “Papo Impala está quitao” and “El Caso Dios,” is back in New York City with his latest creative endeavor, the satirical laugh-out-loud book, Décimas por Sacos.
Written in the preferred style of the Puerto Rican jíbaro and troubadour, the décima, this book is a unique record and reflection of the Puerto Rican character, joyous but critical. It spans almost ten years of original writing, which Torres primarily published online through social media using his original character, Pateco, as the primary voice.
The book presentation will also include a performance by the actor and live music.
Light snacks and beverages will be available.
