is an educational policy researcher with experiences as a bilingual and special education teacher, in New York City’s public schools.She is committed to supporting students, families, and teachers to take on active roles in advocating for equity in the form of equal access to resources, funding, training and as active participants in school governance at the local and national levels. She has worked as a consultant for City College and Fordham University and as a teacher educator at Barnard and Teachers College. She is a graduate of New York, St. John’s and Columbia University. Currently, she is researching anti-bullying training among middle school teachers working with urban students, and the work lives of PR pioneers in the area of Bilingual Education and PR Studies.
