In 2018, Ohio had the 10th largest concentration of Puerto Ricans in the United States with an estimated population of 137,104. Puerto Ricans accounted for 1.2 percent of the state’s overall population in 2018. Between 2010 and 2018, Ohio’s Puerto Rican population increased by 44 percent from 94,965 to 137,104.
