Edward González Papers, 1960-2006

Louis Nuñez (1928-2015) was a champion of educational and economic opportunity for Puerto Ricans, serving as director of educational and Puerto Rican organizations such as ASPIRA and the National Puerto Rican Coalition. Edward Mercado (b. 1937) was director of the New York City Commission on Human Rights and the New York State Division of Human Rights.
