Carlos Ortiz Papers, 1940s-2006

Celia Cruz (1925-2003) was a Cuban singer of Latin music, and was one of the most popular salsa performers of all time. The photograph was taken by Adal Maldonado as part of the Avant Garde Mambo Society Exhibit at Tweed Gallery in New York City.
