Shooting "Badge 373" in New York City

Anita Vélez Mitchell Papers, 1950s-2013

The film included actor Robert Duvall (in front with bandaged hand) and released in the summer of 1973. Anita Velez Mitchell directed the Latino crowds (extras) during the shooting of the film. The Puerto Rican Action Coalition demanded Paramount Pictures to withdraw the 'racist' film, but it was denied.
