CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Figueroa expresses her thoughts on why she was chosen as one of Central Florida's 100 Distinguished Puerto Ricans by the Center for Puerto Rican Studies. She feels that it is because of her involvement with the Osceola County Puerto Rican Parade, as well as her work as the first bilingual social worker in Osceola Public School.
