Vazquez being approached by Richard M Daley to be the next Commissioner for Department of Human Services. He managed 500+ employees and a budget of $250 million. He was the first Puerto Rican to run the Department of Human Services and he was one a few Puerto Ricans on the mayor's cabinet.
