CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

De la O discusses how, when she was a teenager her parents decided to move her family back to Puerto Rico. She talks about her experience living in Puerto Rico and the joy that she felt being surrounded only by Puerto Ricans, while facing derision as the "Americana." De la O continues explaining the differences created between the Puerto Rican diaspora and the Puerto Ricans of the island and how that changed in 2014.
