CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Venegas explains that in taking advantage of her Master's degree in Adult Education, she was able to train adult care givers in nursing homes to move and handle the elderly residents properly. Through this training, she was able to decrease the incidence of injuries due to the high number of falls that occurred with the patients.
