Elba Cabrera Papers, 1924-2015

Press release of a forum developed by community activists called " A Call to Action," inspired by the founder of the United Bronx Parents, Dr. Evelina López Antonetty. The forum was organized to help resolve New York's racial and social issues and to further the advancement and rights of people of color. The forum, held at Hunter College, was organized by the Caribbean Cultural Center, the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College, the United Bronx Parents, and several other community-based organizations.
