CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Medina talks about his work with Mayor Richard Daley and his efforts to get the support of the Latino community. He asserts that the Hispanic political groups ostracized him for working with Daley because they consider him an enemy of the community. Medina explains that he needed to work inside the system in order to promote the necessary changes.
