CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Medina talks about his work with the politician Victor Reyes and the emphasis he gave to ameliorate the relationship between the Mexican and Puerto Rican communities. He discusses his work with Mayor Richard Daley and the establishment of the Hispanic Democratic Organization (HDO). Medina also refers to his decision to retire from politics and the labor movements at the age of 65. He enumerates the projects that he assumed after his retirement.
