CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Montalvo discusses the evolution and changes in bilingual education programs. She explains that during the administrations of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush the bilingual programs were watered down, however, parents learned that their children deserved quality education.
