Interview with Ruth Laviera Sanchez on January 20, 2016, Segment 7

CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Laviera Sanchez talks about her two brothers and the relationship that she had with them. She begins describing her older brother, Pablo Laviera, who fell into problems of drugs and criminality having to flee Puerto Rico in order to avoid being arrested by the local police. With him, she had a very tense relationship. On the other hand, she describes the birth of her youngest brother Tato as a positive event in her life. He gave her a family sense and they both developed a very close relationship.
