Libertad para Blanca Canales

Emelí Vélez de Vando Papers, 1919-1999

Women's Committee for the Freedom of Blanca Canales march in support of jailed Puerto Rican Nationalist leader. Canales was imprisoned for taking part in the 1950 Nationalist uprising in Jayuya, Puerto Rico. At the time of the march, Canales was the only participant still in prison.
