Brochure and program for celebration of "Grito de Lares" Centennial (1868-1968), "El Grito en el Tiempo." El Grito de Lares, or the Cry of Lares, refers to Puerto Rico's revolt against Spanish colonial rule, which took place in the town of Lares, Puerto Rico, September 23, 1868. Theatrical, musical and dance performances were part of the event.
