Interview with Gilda Mirós on November 17, 2016, Segment 1, Part 3

CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Mirós talks about her career in film and television during the 1960s, which she developed between New York, Mexico City and Puerto Rico. She enumerates the television series and soap operas that she participated while living in New York. She also acted in Broadway shows such as “La Barca sin Pescador.” Mirós refers to her introduction to television in Puerto Rico, through the television station,WAPA, by working with the Cuban producer Gaspar Pumarejo. She describes her experience in the film “Romances in Puerto Rico.”
