Buttons Collection, 1930s-1990s (artificial collection)

Button supporting the labor strike by the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee and the United Farm Workers against grape growers in California that began on September 8, 1965, and lasted more than five years. The strike was ultimately successful due to grassroots efforts including boycotts, non-violent resistence, community organizing and marches.
