CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Vlasto talks in detail about Badillo's second campaign for mayor in 1973. He explains the factors that favored Badillo, who at that moment was a congressman, the turning points of the campaign, and the mistakes during the runoff. Vlasto emphasizes that this was the closest that Badillo came to becoming mayor of New York City.
