Interview with Rossana Rosado on 7/23/2015, Segment 63, Part 2

CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Rosado describes her proud moments while working in the newspaper El Diario. She mentions that she was able to publish in front page many Puerto Rican victories, such as the election of Nydia Velazquez as a congresswoman. Rosado also talks about two special series that were well received and had a meaningful impact in the Hispanic community: one was about the 2000 Census which showed the growth of the Latino population in the United States; and the other was about the suicide rates of Latina teenagers.
