CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Rodriguez Calero explains her experience when she moved to Puerto Rico during her teenage years. She asserts that people on the island treated her differently and used to call her "la blanquita" (the white-girl) and perceived her as Americanized. She had to deal with the issue of language, and the stereotypes that people had regarding her identity.
