CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

When asked about the reception of Puerto Rican women in the arts, Rodriguez Calero asserted that she could only speak for herself without doing any generalizations. She stated that she was more accepted by male artists than female artists even though she does not know the reasons. Being a woman and being Puerto Rican is what make her art good, according to Rodriguez Calero.
