Interview with Edgar Colon Hernandez on March 21 2016, Segment 4

CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Colon Hernandez asserts that even though his father influenced his artistic side it was his mother who in terms of music was influential. His mother was a soprano during her youth; she prepared opera productions in the high school where she worked and she also sang in the choir of the University of Puerto Rico. Colon Hernandez’s passion for choral music is something he acquired from his mother who loved choral music as well.
