CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Colon Hernandez discusses about his activism in the gay community and his participation in the New York City Gay Men's Chorus (NYCGMC), organization that he has belonged since its foundation. The musician talks about the importance of this organization for his professional and personal life: he composed original pieces for the chamber choir of the Chorus and he considered the NYCGMC’s members his extended family.
