Question asked: During our last interview you discussed the tobacco mural and spoke about “looking at the root of the problem and telling people about it” as part of El Puente model and curriculum/ Can you tell me how this is implemented and acted on within El Puente? How do students at El Puente exercise Activism? What exactly do they do? This clip is a follow up to the previous interview session done with Luis Garden Acosta on May 15, 2015. Garden Acosta discusses El Puente's educational approach and focus for students to find root cause of various issues and topics. He discusses the Tobacco mural also being used as a research topic for students. Students research critical perspectives about the Tobacco industry.
