Question asked: Do you still work with any of your fellow Young Lords Party members? Garden Acosta shares with us who and how he has collaborated with fellow Young Lords Party members since his tenure with them. He shares with us that Juan Gonzalez has served as an inspiration to him and a collaboration with Mickey Melendez through El Puente to take trips to Cuba. In addition Garden Acosta talks about Hiram Maristany, Felipe Luciano, the son of formerly known LeRoy Jones, and twins that make the film Millie and the Young Lords. He also makes a mention to Sonia Ivanny, claiming she was the first woman to join the Young Lords.
