CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Dr. Falú describes the reasons that motivated the creation of her Foundation in East Harlem/El Barrio in 1986, and also the main functions of the organization. By identifying the issue of unemployment among Latino women and their need for a space where to leave their children, the foundation implemented computer training in order for women to find and secure jobs and also implemented programs of child care.
