CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Colón describes his mother, the awards that she received for her outreach work in her community in the Bronx, NY, especially with the Catholic Church, and her lessons about paying good deeds forward and spreading kindness to others. Colón also describes the discrimination and colorism that he received when he tried to find work after moving to Davy, FL., and his thoughts on Latino communities in Florida.
