CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Ron Blackburn talks about how the Aspira Association is different from the affliates and how they are funded by different federal programs. Also discuss how the national office assists and the affiliates in their goals. Aspira is a diverse organization, they now have an opportunity to operate schools which are now experimenting with technology. Since going national they have been able to receive more funding. They have a larger presence since they are located in Washington, DC. Aspira Association deals with corporate responsibility, philanthropy, and public policy and Latinos in corporate America. They also have oversight in legislation on education.
