CENTRO: New York City Hispanic Labor Documentation Oral History Project

Gray speaks about her introduction to the labor movement, and how in the late '50s, she worked with groups to educate labors leaders on the Puerto Rican labor movement with an emphasis on hiring Puerto Ricans into steady jobs. She also worked with Eddie González to obtain money from New York State to fund bilingual courses through Cornell University in Union Leadership that promoted both learning English and learning about labor unions.
