Interview with Tony Ortiz on June 13, 2017, Segment 13

CENTRO: 100 Puerto Ricans Oral History Project, 2013-

Ortiz explains that Parque Las Americas, or Nature's Park, was destroyed in 2004 after a hurricane. At that time he decided to reestablish the park with a new concept, one of a continuous interaction of the neighborhood. Dominoes, track and a dog park are some of the activities enjoyed by the local community.
