South Bronx Library Project

Lillian López Papers, 1928-2005

The New York Public Library's South Bronx Project, a federally-supported demonstration program, was designed to reach out into neighborhoods of Spanish-speaking people and break through local barriers. It was headed by Lillian López as a library administrator.
