"The purpose of the Conference will be to create a unique opportunity for the Puerto Rican organizations of the state to organize, share ideas and plan for the future of the student community. It will be a unique opportunity for Puerto Rican students from the state of Florida to connect and join forces, "said José Rivera, founder of NPRSC Inc.

Students will have the experience of meeting and sharing with the keynote speakers who will be presenting ideas about the future of the Puerto Rican student community, and offering their mentoring to establish a joint and coordinated agenda while establishing priorities. The keynote speakers are: Dr. Fernando Rivera, director of the UCF Puerto Rico Research Hub, who will present on the opportunities of research collaborations for the students of the state. Dr. Edwin Meléndez, director of the Center for Puerto Rican Studies-Centro, will also be visiting from New York and presenting his most recent publication entitled "Rebuild Puerto Rico: A Guide to Federal Policy and Advocacy."

The Puerto Rican Student Conference of Florida is possible thanks to the strategic collaboration between NPRSC Inc., the UCF Puerto Rico Research Hub, and the Puerto Rican Student Organization at UCF.
