Developing and implementing programs, curricula, and pedagogies that motivate Hunter, CUNY and other students, and teachers, to succeed as scholars and professionals.

• Sponsoring graduate and undergraduate courses, seminars and forums that target scholars with an interest in understanding the role of ethnicity and identity as they affect the Puerto Rican and other Latino communities.

• Strengthening the pipeline of young scholars with support services by collaborating with Hunter and CUNY.

• Increasing the corps of Puerto Rican teachers.
