Exploring Animal Minds-A Panel Discussion
Hunter College
68th St. and Lexington Ave.
West Building, Room 714
Friday, June 8, 2012
Don Moore, the Associate Director of Animal Care at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C., will moderate the panel discussion: So, You Think You Know Your Dog?. This is the last of five forums in the series, Exploring Animal Minds presented by Thinking Animals, Inc.
Covered this evening will be the question: How much do we really understand about dogs? They've lived with us for millennia but we still don't understand them as well as they understand us, and we're just beginning to understand what incredible roles they play in our lives. What more is there to learn about our best friends?
To discuss this, we welcome panelists Alexandra Horowitz, Evan Maclean, James Serpel, and Steve Zawistowski. A reception with food and drink will follow in the faculty lounge (separate ticket required).
